Update Sharron Prior

January 21, 2011 By Alice

Sharron PriorThe case of Sharron Prior has created discussions per email. Readers told me many interesting facts. I asked whether I could use parts of their information online. This information is not found in any of the newspaper articles and even contradicts some articles.

I invite everyone who used to live in the Point (Canada) to read this collage and give their opinion. If you have photographs of the area as it was back then, please use the contact page. I am especially interested in the lane ways, the field where Sharron was found, and the exact route she would have walked if she indeed went to the pizzeria.

Here is a collage of the information I received:

“If you go to Sharron’s website you will see a map of the route she possibly took that evening. Sharron’s house was approximately where the red “X” is on de la Congregation. If indeed she was going to Marina’s pizza, she would go up to Wellington, turn left or go up to Favard, turn left, go to Ash and then turn right.

There is no cut-through lane way on Congregation over to St. Madeleine.

There is a lane way between Bourgeois and Ash. Interestingly, I know that a family with lots of kids lived near that lane way. One of the youngest told people that she saw Sharron on the lane way and that Sharron was being pulled into a car.

If Sharron was going to Marina’s why would she turn south away from her destination to go through that lane way?  Did she get into a car, was she pulled into a car? By whom? Someone she knew would be there? Someone she knew or recognized? Was that a spot where she would be picked up to go to Marina’s? Was it not the first time?

If there was a struggle, she would have screamed, right? But then the kids probably would have heard that and got their parents, right?”

If you have any information, please contact police.

Author Notes

Since 2009, I write about unsolved cases that need renewed media attention. I only do research and leave active investigations to the authorities.

My posts cover homicides, missing and unidentified people, wrongful convictions, and forensics as related to unsolved cases.

On book reviews: I only review select works of true crime, crime fiction, and historical fiction/mysteries. The stories have to fit my website's theme, tone, and research. It is my prerogative to not review a book. Please check the FAQ page for more.

My databases are free to the public. Cases are sorted by the victim’s last name.

If you have any questions about my website please check the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, the About page, and the tabs in both menu bars. If you cannot find the answers there, please contact me.
