Rest in peace, Alex Spence

May 3, 2010 By Alice

Last Friday, Alex Spence was laid to rest. The funeral was a true tribute to Alex with all his family and friends gathering to pay their last respects to this father of two very young children,  Alexander, 4, and Sam, 20 months.

His funeral took place at the Church Of Our Lady Of Lourdes and St Peter Chanel in Cottingham Road, north Hull. As mentioned before, I suspected that Alex slipped and that turns out to be true. There is no sign of foul play at all.

On behalf of Alex’ mother, a message to all of you who read about her son: “Thanks to all those who tried to help find my son.” She wishes to thank everyone for showing an interest in the family’s well-being and is very happy, the world learned a little about her son, a good man, who met an unfortunate fate.

We wish to express its deepest sympathy to the Spence family. May Alex rest in peace. Thank you all, for your emails and inquiries. Should more information become available, I will post it here.

Author Notes

Since 2009, I write about unsolved cases that need renewed media attention. I only do research and leave active investigations to the authorities.

My posts cover homicides, missing and unidentified people, wrongful convictions, and forensics as related to unsolved cases.

On book reviews: I only review select works of true crime, crime fiction, and historical fiction/mysteries. The stories have to fit my website's theme, tone, and research. It is my prerogative to not review a book. Please check the FAQ page for more.

My databases are free to the public. Cases are sorted by the victim’s last name.

If you have any questions about my website please check the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, the About page, and the tabs in both menu bars. If you cannot find the answers there, please contact me.

Thank you,
