Missing: Elizabeth Ann Pfeifer

April 12, 2017 By Alice

Elizabeth Ann PfeiferElizabeth Ann Pfeifer went missing today in 1986. Her case is still unsolved. She was last seen in Katy, Texas, April 12, 1986. She lived with her parents and sister. Elizabeth’s case is in the NamUs database.

Elizabeth left home in the early evening to go to a party with five friends in the northern part of town. At the party, she got drunk. Around midnight, Elizabeth left with an unknown man. Her friends knew that she was leaving, but they did not know the man. It is unclear whether they tried to stop her from leaving. She was reported missing by her parents four weeks after she vanished.

The authorities tracked down the unknown man. He told police that they left the party, went to his apartment in Houston, and then drove back to Katy. They stopped for gas on North Mason Road. While filling up the tank, Elizabeth left.

Elizabeth was given up for adoption shortly after she was born on December 10, 1965. She did not finish high school and was addicted to alcohol and drugs. Elizabeth has brown hair, blue eyes, and a tattoo on her left shoulder of a red rose. The name “Dave” is underneath the design. Her dental records are available and according to NamUs, they have her DNA on file.

If you have any information about Elizabeth Ann Pfeifer’s case please contact the Katy Police Department at 281-391-4848. Her case number there is 86-0308.

Author Notes

Since 2009, I write about unsolved cases that need renewed media attention. I only do research and leave active investigations to the authorities.

My posts cover homicides, missing and unidentified people, wrongful convictions, and forensics as related to unsolved cases.

On book reviews: I only review select works of true crime, crime fiction, and historical fiction/mysteries. The stories have to fit my website's theme, tone, and research. It is my prerogative to not review a book. Please check the FAQ page for more.

My databases are free to the public. Cases are sorted by the victim’s last name.

If you have any questions about my website please check the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, the About page, and the tabs in both menu bars. If you cannot find the answers there, please contact me.

Thank you,

Alice de Sturler
