There has been renewed media attention for the Teekah Latres Lewis case, the toddler who went missing from a Tacoma bowling center in 1999.

This article, click here, gives a very good overview of the case, where we are now, and why there was renewed activity in the case.

Unfortunately, nothing was found to advance Teekah’s case however, it shows the authorities are still looking for her. Teekah has not been forgotten.

If you know anything, please call CrimeStoppers, see the contact information below. Any detail, no matter how small or insignificant you may think it is, just might connect some dots.

The Case

Teekah Latres Lewis (2) went missing from “the New Frontier Lanes bowling alley on Jan. 23, 1999 in Tacoma [ Washington], located in the 4700 block of Center St. She was last seen playing in the arcade area of the bowling alley. The bowling alley has since been replaced by a Home Depot.”

The bowling alley announced over the intercom that a toddler was missing. People helped search even in the parking lot but Teekah was gone.

On Jan 23, 2020 police revealed a possible clue they had in their files. It was found when a new person reviewed the old file.

A white man was seen at the bowling alley. He was between 30-40 years old, brown curly hair, a mustache, and a pockmarked face. This man was seen by a witness who saw that man with a little girl. According to the papers, this man has never been positively identified.

There is more information about this and a car of interest in the newspaper article, see link in the beginning of this post.

Author Notes

Since 2009, I write about unsolved cases that need renewed media attention. I only do research and leave active investigations to the authorities.

My posts cover homicides, missing and unidentified people, wrongful convictions, and forensics as related to unsolved cases.

On book reviews: I only review select works of true crime, crime fiction, and historical fiction/mysteries. The stories have to fit my website's theme, tone, and research. It is my prerogative to not review a book. Please check the FAQ page for more.

My databases are free to the public. Cases are sorted by the victim’s last name.

If you have any questions about my website please check the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, the About page, and the tabs in both menu bars. If you cannot find the answers there, please contact me.
