On February 26, 2013, Anibal Perez was shot multiple times while seated in his parked car, a Honda Accord, around 10pm. He was near 27th Street and Arthur Avenue, Camden, New Jersey. He was transported to Cooper Hospital (Camden). Anibal Perez was pronounced dead at 1024pm. His murder remains unsolved.

Three hours before he was murdered, surveillance cameras caught Perez as he walked into Vizcaya’s Liquor Store on 25th and Sherman streets. This store is about three blocks away from the place where he was shot.

If you watch the video (click here) you can see a car arrive.  That is Perez. He is the first man you see walking into the store. There is a second car in that parking lot with two men. They seem to be watching Perez. Their car could be a blue Dodge Charger.

One of those two men gets out of the car and follows Perez into the liquor store. Then you see Perez leave and drive away. The man who got out of the Dodge exits the liquor store too, gets into another car, possibly a Ford Explorer or Escape, and they follow without their headlights on. Then the Dodge Charger follows too.

The authorities consider these two men people of interest. It is unknown if they have anything to do at all with Perez’ death but police “consider it critically important to identify them and speak with them.”

There is a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for killing Perez. This reward is handled by the Citizens Crime Commission. Anonymous tipsters are eligible only if they call the tip line at 215-546-TIPS.
