Gavin Ward continued his chats on blogging, Google + and SEO. Gavin dove into Pinterest and the changed T&C that worried folks and hindered some from signing up. A lot has changed so you might want to explore it.
We talked about DuckDuckGo and if you never tried this search engine, you should! It shows different search results and in another order than Google which tailors its searches.
Even if you cannot spend a lot of time on all social networks (e.g. Pinterest, Google Plus and others) Gavin thought that it was a good idea to have at least a profile out (with your blog links) for more web visibility. Using a RSS feed to post on several sites could be a blessing as it saves you time however, there are people who block those users. Some Twitter follow apps show who uses feeds and people do tend to unfollow or even block so caution there.
We touched on blog themes, blogs that require a fee or membership and how that would affect us. If you have any questions for Gavin, just leave them in the comment box and I’ll alert Gavin. The verbatim thread is below.
