There is no way of knowing when the murder of Trey Noah will finally go to court.
Brandon Harber and Shelby Moore were charged with Trey’s murder and will eventually be tried in Gillespie County, TX. However, “an initial confession from Moore was tossed out in a pre-trial hearing. The DA is appealing that decision. That could take a long time.”
Moore is Noah’s cousin and even served as a pallbearer at his funeral.
Trey Allen Noah, 20, disappeared in November 2009 from his parents home in Kendalia, Texas, near San Antonio.
Gillespie County Sheriff Buddy Mills said Shelby C. Moore and Brandon L. Harber were arrested in conjunction with Trey’s “disappearance and murder.” However, the sheriff would not discuss when and where the slaying occurred, or whether a possible motive for the crime was known. Mills also would not comment on how authorities suspect Noah was killed, noting he is still awaiting the autopsy report. So far, I have not been able to find an autopsy report. If you have, I’d appreciate a link or a copy!
Later, Harber and Moore were charged with first-degree felony murder as well as tampering with physical evidence, a second-degree felony. They were both arrested in June 2010 and are now both released on bond. Conflicting information appeared in the papers as to who shot Trey. Both defendants pointed to each other. However, it was Harber who was first released on $300,000 surety bond under nine conditions.
