I have been blogging for the American Investigative Society Of Cold Cases. We have two new consulting committee members: Robert J. Levan and Lesley Hammer. Both new members come with incredible experience and knowledge that will help advance some of our cold cases.
Lesley Hammer is a Certified Footwear Examiner and a Certified Senior Crime Scene Analyst with the International Association for Identification, as well as a Certified Footwear Examiner with the Canadian Identification Society and a Certified Diplomate with the American Board of Criminalists.
Robert J. Levan is an active member of the Troop K, Philadelphia Major Case Team. He also is an Amber Alert designee for Pennsylvania. Rob is an active member of the Pennsylvania Homicide Investigator’s Association, Mid-Atlantic Cold Case Homicide Investigator’s Association and the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts.
Aside from introducing you to the new members of the Consulting Committee and the Review Board, I am planning to have interviews with all the AISOCC’s members so please stay tuned for that. Some members will talk about their work. Some members have written books that will keep you up at night. When more posts will go up, I will let you know here on Defrosting Cold Cases.
You can connect with the AISOCC on Twitter, on Facebook, and in our group on LinkedIn.
Note: as time passes the organization has changed some of its online features and presence. The blog and website are under re-construction as well as some features on social media. The goal remains the same and the dedication is as strong as ever.
